HasNa Receives USIP Grant

2006

HasNa has received its first grant from The United States Institute of Peace (USIP).  USIP will be providing funds to HasNa for six months to support the bi-communal radio program in Cyprus, Talk of the Island, which is administered with the help of two local NGOs and two local radio stations, each from both sides of the island.  This grant will enable HasNa to strengthen this ambitious and much-needed radio program that will be broadcast live on both sides of the island and will consist of a live, uncensored call-in talk show.
