• Agriculture

Agriculture is the most significant source of income in southeastern Turkey. Therefore, improving farming and irrigation techniques plays a crucial role in developing the region. [read more]

• Business

In 2007, HasNa trained a group of businessmen and women from Diyarbakir, Turkey in conflict resolution and business management. The 16 participants were members of DISIAD, a business organization that works in various industrial sectors such as construction and marble production. [read more]

• Women

HasNa’s Women’s Microbusiness Training Programs strive to empower women living in the southeastern region of Turkey by giving them the skills and confidence needed to become productive members of their society... [read more]

• Community Development

Recognizing the need and the benefit of teaching youth how to manage conflicts, HasNa conducted a two day conflict resolution and mediation training sessions for Toplum Gönüllüleri (TOG) volunteers and staff in Istanbul in 2008. [read more]

• Follow-Up Projects

  In an effort to encourage further realization of the goals of HasNa participants and further contribute to development in HasNa’s program areas, HasNa supports a number of pilot projects undertaken by its program graduates which follow-up on the skills they acquired during training. [read more]
